Snug uses the Facebook Graph API to link with Instagram business accounts and because of this you must meet the following requirements:
- Your Instagram account is a business / professional account: Set Up a Business Account on Instagram
- Your Instagram account is linked with a Facebook Page: Add a Facebook Page to your Instagram Business Account
If you are having problems connecting your business Instagram account and receive a ‘No Business Accounts’ message, please verify both links above.
Why do I need to link my business Instagram account with a Facebook Page?
To retrieve your business Instagram account details, we use the following Facebook Graph API permissions:
manage_pages: The manage_pages permission allows your app to retrieve Page Access Tokens for the Pages and apps that the app user administers.instagram_basic: The instagram_basic permission allows your app to read an Instagram Account profile’s info and media.
Requesting the instagram_basic permission only returns the data whereby it is linked with a Facebook Page.
